This fine bibliography is one of the many results of the First International Symposium on Junichiro Tanazaki that was held by the Japanese Studies Institute in Venice in the spring of 1995, a joint celebration of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Institute and a commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the writer’s death.
