Honda in talks with Google's Waymo on self-drive tech
Honda Motor Co. said Wednesday it is talking to Waymo, the autonomous driving unit of Google parent Alphabet Inc., to try to strike a deal that would put its self-driving technology into some of the Japanese automaker's cars.

Automated driving systems to be tested on Tokyo roads from 2017
The government will test automated driving systems on public roads and highways in Tokyo between 2017 and 2019 in hopes of accelerating commercialization of the technology ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, according to the Cabinet Office.
