The Shimane Susanoo Magic added veteran point guard Cohey Aoki to their roster for the inaugural B. League season, the second-division club announced on Thursday.
The 167-cm Aoki was named to a record nine bj-league All-Star teams. He spent the last three seasons with the Rizing Fukuoka, who are now in the B. League's third division and known as Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka.
Last season, Aoki shot 94.5 percent from the free-throw line, placing No. 1 in that category for the sixth time in the bj-league's 11-season history.
