The defending champion Hamamatsu Higashimikawa Phoenix rode the one-two punch of Terrance Woodbury and Reggie Warren to a 102-88 victory over the Oita Ehime HeatDevils on Saturday night.
Woodbury sank 6 of 10 3-pointers en route to a game-best 32 points. He also grabbed 11 rebounds for the Phoenix (6-3).
Warren scored 26 points, grabbed 26 rebounds and made three steals.
