It was a new coach and new players, with Chicago Bulls GM Jerry Krause seemingly having pulled off another coup in 1989 with three first-round picks, though they would come in one of the weaker drafts in league history.
Chicago would get Stacey King with the No. 6 selection, B.J. Armstrong with No. 18, and Jeff Sanders with No. 20. The King pick came from the Orlando Woolridge trade and Armstrong's from the Brad Sellers trade.
