YOKOHAMA — Kashima Antlers shook off an indifferent run of form and got back to winning ways with a stylish 3-1 victory over Yokohama F. Marinos on Saturday.

The defending J. League champions had taken only two points from their previous three league games going into the match at Nissan Stadium, but defender Lee Jung Soo set Oswaldo Oliveira's side off in the right direction with a 21st-minute headed opener.

Kazuma Watanabe pulled one back for Marinos less than 10 minutes later, but an inspired second-half performance by Marquinhos put Kashima back in control as the Brazilian striker set up a 51st-minute goal for Mitsuo Ogasawara before scoring the third himself. It was Marquinhos' 100th J. League goal, making him only the fifth player to accomplish that feat.
