LONDON (AP) Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen are being sued by their former management company.

The James Grant Group claims it is owed £4 million ($6.4 million) in lost earnings after agent Paul Stretford left the company in 2009 along with his two star clients.

The lawsuit will see the England striker and his wife give evidence in a court case, which begins Monday in Manchester and is expected to last three weeks.

The case could see details of Rooney's earning revealed in court.

The Rooneys are dismissing the claims as "exploitative and financially driven."
