Two of Hong Kong's three runners in the Yasuda Kinen on Sunday in Tokyo took first and third place, with Bullish Luck besting the crowd by two-and-a-half lengths for not only the 100 million yen winner's share but a $1 million bonus as well.

The Japan-based Asakusa Denfen, the winner of last year's Yasuda, ran second, finishing a nose ahead of Hong Kong's Joyful Winner. With the win of the race's 65th running, Bullish Luck revenged his fourth-place finish of last year and bagged the Asian Mile Challenge series' bonus as well.

The win brought the 7-year-old gelding's career record to 11 for 43. "I'm feeling pretty brilliant," said Australian rider Brett Prebble. "This is the best horse I've ever ridden." Bullish Luck, by Royal Academy, was bred in the United States and is owned by Wing Keung Wong of Hong Kong.
