Mitsubishi Motors Corp. said Wednesday it has decided to suspend its participation in the FIA World Rally Championship series for two years from next year in order to concentrate on its business revitalization plan.
The company said that to realize the plan for reviving its business operations, it concluded that it must focus management resources on the continued promotion of the plan. The company hopes to return to the world championship series from 2008.
