WBC superflyweight champion Katsushige Kawashima will defend his title for the third time when he takes on former champion and challenger Masamori Tokuyama this summer, officials of both gyms said Monday.
The 12-rounder will be held July 18 in Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium.
It will be Kawashima and Tokuyama's third fight. Kawashima has a 28-3 record, including 18 knockouts. Tokuyama is 30-3 with eight knockouts.
