Yomiuri Giants slugger Kazuhiro Kiyohara, who injured his right hamstring while jogging late last month, will be out of action until mid-April, manager Tatsunori Hara said Thursday.

Kiyohara, who also injured his left thigh last spring in a minor league game, is scheduled to meet Hara to discuss his condition before a preseason game at Tokyo Dome on Saturday, when the two are expected to set a comeback date for the injury-prone 35-year-old.
