Regarding the June 12 Kyodo article that states that 54 percent of the Japanese public “preferred arrest for bin Laden” to U.S. commandos’ killing him during a surprise raid on his compound in Pakistan on May 2: You got to be kidding me.

We all live in the real world even if our imaginations don’t like reality. This evil man brought death and destruction to thousands of people and was actively seeking to murder thousands more for the remainder of his life.

Osama bin Laden was not some rogue deer in Nara to lock behind a fence.
