Doug Bandow's Jan. 5 article, "Lost religious liberty worldwide," looks like something written during the Cold War era. Most of the countries in Bandow's list — where religious freedom fares the worst — are either communist or Islamic.

What about Switzerland, which banned the construction of minarets on mosques? How about France, which banned the wearing of face veils in public places? I am not evangelizing the Muslim point of view; I'm just saying that violations of religious freedom are everywhere. So why point to a few?
