Discussion of God and the inequities of Christian life in the real world always presents well-meaning Christians with a powerful dilemma. Anyone looking for a perfect life as a Christian, God-fearing person has to face the unpleasant reality that life isn't often fair and rewarding according to good behavior alone.

More Christians should exhibit a stronger faith as they look at tragedies and disasters. God's creations of life are made fragile and often cut short; there was never a promise of a guaranteed long life for any living form on this Earth. All lives are ultimately subject to the forces of Earth and God.

The fact that innocents are killed with seeming indifference only lends credibility to the idea that all life is unequivocally given and taken according to God's will, as set forth by His "forces of nature" -- certainly not ours.
