Following a report that a Japanese mother’s breast milk had tested positive for the coronavirus, some mothers are becoming concerned they could transmit the coronavirus to their newborns.
Medical organizations differ on how to tackle the issue, although at least one doctor is urging calm, arguing that there is no evidence that infants can be infected through breastfeeding.
