SINGAPORE – The former editor of the website The Real Singapore who was sentenced last month to 10 months in prison for sedition began serving her sentence Friday.
“I’m OK, I’m ready for it,” Japanese-Australian Ai Takagi said as she walked with her Singaporean husband, Yang Kaiheng, toward a court building from where a police van would transport her to Changi Women’s Prison.
