Norwegian parliamentarians Snorre Valen and Baard Vegar Solhjell have nominated Edward Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize for his disclosures about National Security Agency spying.
They said that Snowden's leaks undoubtedly "damaged the security interests of several nations in the short term" and that they didn't necessarily condone or support all his disclosures. But the revelations did have a positive impact, they said.
