An annual requiem concert will be held on the evening of Nov. 16 in St. Mary’s Cathedral in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, featuring the music of Johan Sebastian Bach and pieces believed to have been composed by Georg Melchior Hoffmann and Gottfried Heinrich Stoelzel.
Organizers of the 26th annual Requiem Gathering for the Consolation of Souls will print the names of deceased loved ones in the program at the request of concert guests.
Reservations for the concert, which begins at 7 p.m., must be made in advance. Tickets cost ¥4,000 for adults and • ¥• 2,500 for students.
Those who wish to have the names of their loved ones printed in the program should fax a maximum of two names to Musica Poetica at (03) 3998-5238. The deadline is Monday.
