7-Eleven Inc., the U.S. arm of retailer Seven & I Holdings Co., has acquired 67 convenience stores from EZ Energy USA Inc. and 58 from Handee Marts Inc., the retail titan said Monday.

Ohio-based EZ Energy runs a network of convenience stores in Ohio and Pennsylvania alongside a gasoline wholesale business, while Pennsylvania-based Handee Marts runs convenience stores in West Virginia and Maryland.

Both transactions were closed Oct. 1, the company said.

The short-term financial impact of the acquisitions on Seven & I Holdings' earnings results will be minimal, but it will help improve mid- to long-term results, it said.
