Olympus Corp. former President Michael C. Woodford, who exposed the shady deals the firm made to conceal bubble-era losses, said Wednesday he will publish his memoirs of the scandal in April just before shareholders vote to approve its new management team.

The 320-page memoir will reveal the inside story of the ordeal leading up to the 51-year-old Briton’s sudden dismissal in mid-October, including his disclosure of the optical equipment maker’s ¥117.7 billion accounting fraud. The book will be released April 15 in Japanese, with an English edition set for October, according to Hayakawa Publishing Corp.
