JVC Kenwood Holdings Inc. will integrate with three group firms possibly in October to step up its efforts for reconstruction by streamlining its operations and speeding up decision-making, company sources said Friday.
The three companies under its umbrella are Victor Co. of Japan., Kenwood Corp. and J&K Car Electronics Corp.
JVC Kenwood Holdings, which was created in 2008 through the management integration of Victor and Kenwood, has carried out reconstruction measures such as cutting payrolls and eliminating unprofitable businesses.
