FUKUOKA (Kyodo) A man who led police in Kyushu on an hourlong car chase through Fukuoka and Saga prefectures was captured Sunday after injuring six people during the ordeal.
According to the police, the chase began when Kaoru Koga, 39, allegedly stole an expressway corporation patrol car in the city of Fukuoka shortly before midnight Saturday.
He then allegedly changed cars before being caught about 40 km away in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, after causing four accidents in which six people were slightly injured.
