Prince Tomohito of Mikasa, a cousin of Emperor Akihito, was admitted to the Imperial Household Hospital last week for alcoholism treatment, the Imperial Household Agency said Tuesday.
It is the fifth time since June that the 64-year-old prince has been hospitalized for such treatment, the agency said. He spent about two weeks in a different hospital last month.
