OSAKA (Kyodo) Osaka Securities Exchange Co. said Tuesday its board approved a plan to launch an organizational integration April 1 with Jasdaq Securities Exchange Inc., which the Osaka-based bourse operator made its wholly owned subsidiary in September.

On Sept. 24, OSE Co. completed the process of turning Jasdaq into the subsidiary to open the path for integrating the Tokyo-based market for startup firms and the OSE's Hercules market for young companies, planned for next fall.

"We will funnel our business resources into reviving trust in markets for startup companies and bolstering our efficiency, while optimizing synergy effects" from the upcoming integration, OSE said.
