Honda Motor Co. will postpone the construction of a factory in Argentina by at least six months.
The factory will open in mid-2010 instead of the beginning of that year, said spokesman Hideto Maehara.
Japan's second-largest carmaker planned to invest $100 million in the factory, according to Argentina's government. The plant's planned capacity reportedly is about 30,000 subcompacts a year.
