The Yokohama District Court sentenced a 24-year-old man to 16 years in prison Thursday for killing two high school students and injuring seven others with his speeding car last October in the city.
Yuichi Koizumi, a former security guard, was exceeding 100 kph when he plowed into the group of Salegio Gakuin High School sophomores on the morning of Oct. 17 in front of the school in a 40 kph speed zone.
