A turtle was caught in switch points Monday morning on the JR Kansai Line, delaying trains for up to an hour, officials of Central Japan Railway Co. (JR Tokai) said.
The turtle, about 30 cm long and 15 cm wide, was found dead, stuck in switch points near Eiwa Station in Aisai, Aichi Prefecture, at around 10 a.m., JR Tokai officials said.
