The Tokyo offices of a well-known photographer and architect were burglarized Monday and police believe the two crimes were committed by the same party.
At 10 a.m., employees of photographer Kishin Shinoyama discovered that 1.5 million yen had been stolen from their office, which is located in the Akasaka district in Minato Ward, police said.
The same building also houses the office of architect Arata Isozaki. Staff at that office said some 1 million yen had vanished Monday morning, police said.
