SAPPORO (Kyodo) The Sapporo High Court dismissed a request Thursday from Ainu and their supporters to recall a publication on the ethnic minority's history they say is defamatory, upholding a lower court ruling.
The seven-volume set published in 1980 lists individual names of some 450 Ainu and details their medical history.
