SAPPORO (Kyodo) A 64-month-old dairy cow that died last week at a Hokkaido farm had mad cow disease — the 22nd case in Japan, the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Ministry said.
The carcass of the female Holstein, which died in the town of Betsukai, will be incinerated, the ministry said.
