Despite recent anti-Japan demonstrations in China, business relations between the two neighbors will eventually deepen and expand in a mutually beneficial way, a Chinese business executive predicted Thursday.

"In the long run, however formidable the political rifts may seem now, they will be settled in an amicable manner by politicians," said Yip Chuon, general manager of Yue Long Industrial Co., a leading contract manufacturer based in the city of Dongguan, Guandong Province.

"We businesspeople must pursue the path of reinforcing and expanding Sino-Japanese business relations for the well-being of the peoples of both countries."
