The government plans to set out an outline for the fiscal 2005 state budget on July 30, Finance Minister Sadakazu Tanigaki said Tuesday.
Tanigaki said he has asked the Cabinet to approve budget guidelines for the next fiscal year, including setting ceilings on spending requests from government ministries and agencies, at a meeting on July 30.
