The ruling Liberal Democratic Party will consider withdrawing a boycott against TV Asahi Corp. and allow members of the party to appear on the broadcaster’s programs, LDP Secretary General Shinzo Abe said Friday.
The LDP has urged its members to refrain from appearing on TV Asahi programs to protest its reports on the LDP presidential election and House of Representatives election last year.
