The Financial Services Agency plans to examine UFJ Bank’s internal lending documents to see whether the bank has responded properly to the agency’s inspections, financial sources said Saturday.

It has emerged that there may be other documents featuring different assessments of borrowers’ financial health from those featured in official documents presented by the bank to the FSA, the sources said.
