OSAKA -- Humans may someday cease to fight over oil when the sun becomes our main source of energy, according to 64-year-old German journalist Franz Alt.
"The U.S.-led war on Iraq was clearly a fight for oil," said Alt, who recently came to Japan on a lecture tour. "Nobody, however, fights over the sun because it shines on the heads of everyone.
"The choice, fighting over oil or peace under the sun, has become very important in current world politics."
