Nonresident investors were net buyers of Japanese stocks in June for the fourth consecutive month, with net purchases of 254.5 billion yen, the Finance Ministry said Monday in a report based on settlements.

Nonresident investors purchased 6.153 trillion yen worth of Japanese stocks and sold 5.898 trillion yen.

They were net buyers of Japanese bonds for the second straight month, with net purchases of 977.5 billion yen.

They bought 5.265 trillion yen worth of Japanese bonds and sold 4.288 trillion yen.

Japanese were net buyers of foreign stocks for a fifth straight month, with net purchases of 781.8 billion yen. They bought 2.035 trillion yen worth and sold 1.253 trillion yen.

They were net buyers of foreign bonds for the third consecutive month, with net purchases of 1.263 trillion yen, buying 9.652 trillion yen and selling 8.389 trillion yen.
