HAKODATE, Hokkaido – A new archive showcasing 20,000 photos, making it one of Japan’s largest collections, has opened here, archive officials said Wednesday.
The collection at the Hakodate Photo Archives mostly features post-war domestic photos, many of which are worth tens of thousands of yen.
