OSAKA -- A 57-year-old man believed to have been involved in three shooting incidents in Osaka Prefecture on Wednesday evening was found hanged at his home in Sakai on Thursday, police said.
They are treating the case as a suicide.
Police were searching for the man, identified as a former gang member, following the shootings of a pub manager, who died, and the man's former wife, Chiemi Shimizu, 41, at a bar she runs in Takaishi. Shimizu was seriously injured.
