OSAKA -- Wacoal Corp., Japan's biggest maker of women's underwear, said Monday it has concluded a basic business tieup agreement with sporting goods maker Nike Japan Corp. focusing on the development of swimming suits for women in their 20s.
The two companies will release 18 kinds of new swimming suits for fitness-conscious women between February and May next year. They will be the first such suits carrying the Nike brand in Japan.
Wacoal will develop and produce the suits, while Nike will market them mainly through sporting goods stores.
