Chinese President Jiang Zemin will visit Japan from Nov. 25 to the end of the month, Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura said Tuesday.Jiang's visit was originally scheduled for early September but was postponed in August due to massive flood damage in central and northeastern China. A Cabinet decision on inviting Jiang most probably as a state guest will be made at a later date, Komura said. His visit will be the highlight of a year of bilateral events marking the 20th anniversary of the 1978 peace and friendship treaty between the two countries. Japan and China will issue a joint declaration calling for better bilateral relations in the 21st century, officials said.
