In a move to support activities to remove oil leaked from a wrecked Russian tanker that sank in the Sea of Japan from coastal areas, Japan Airlines will provide free air tickets to volunteers who fly between Tokyo's Haneda airport and Komatsu airport in Ishikawa Prefecture, officials at the carrier said Jan. 24.Only volunteers registered at the oil disaster volunteer center in Mikuni, Fukui Prefecture, will be eligible to receive free tickets, they said. Volunteers who wish to book free flights to Komatsu should contact Mikuni's volunteer center at (0776) 81-3431.JAL will provide free tickets from Jan. 29 until the end of February.
