Bountiful Thanksgiving lunch, dinner

Patinastella, a restaurant offering modern American cuisine in Shibuya’s Kamiyamacho area, is offering a Thanksgiving menu for those who want to celebrate and enjoy Thanksgiving Day in Tokyo.

From Nov. 27 to 30, for just four days, experienced executive chef Hitoshi Sugiura will showcase wonderful and delicious Thanksgiving meals, including turkey, pumpkin, cranberry sauce and more. It is the perfect opportunity for customers to share and toast the festive time with family and friends.

Additionally, customers can enjoy about 300 kinds of wine and cocktails selected by a sommelier that are certain to go well with the dishes and promote lively and cheerful conversation.

Sugiura prepares both lunch and dinner, with lunch available for ¥3,500 per person, while dinner is ¥6,500 per person. Prices include tax, but are subject to a service charge.

Fine food for enjoying the holidays

One of restaurants fueling the recent breakfast boom, bills from Australia, is gearing up for the Christmas holidays. Its four Japanese branches: Omotesando, Yokohama, Shichirigahama and Odaiba will offer a Christmas dinner from Dec. 22 to 25, and the reservations are now being accepted.

Inspired by the exciting food culture: understanding the simplicity and the purity of ingredients, and attention to presentation and service in Japan, the restaurant offers a Christmas dinner that perfectly utilizes every ingredient.

The four course dinner will be composed of ceviche; risotto with scallops, dill and Prosecco; braised beef; and jasmine panna cotta. The dinner is available for ¥7,000 per person, excluding tax.

At every bills, customers are always welcomed by a warm, open interior, inspired by the internationally renowned “home cooking chef” Bill Granger’s own home, accompanied by friendly service and a simple yet lively menu centered around the freshest ingredients.

Relaxing, peaceful accommodation

The Celestine Hotel in Tokyo’s Shiba district welcomes the coming holiday season and will offer holiday accommodation packages for Christmas under the name of “Celestine Noel,” from Dec. 1 to 25.

There are four choices of accommodation packages: tickets to an observatory to enjoy a spectacular night view; a half bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne; the hotel’s Christmas dinner and musical performance; or a Mikimoto Cosmetics spa experience.

All packages come with a Mikimoto Cosmetics gift and a discount ticket for the breakfast buffet is also included.

Prices range from ¥13,000 to ¥41,000 for double occupancy depending on package and room type.
