Yona Yona Beer Kitchen on tap
A new beer restaurant featuring Japanese original beer, the Yona Yona Beer Kitchen, opened Thursday on the second floor of Tokyu Plaza Akasaka.
The restaurant serves more than 10 kinds of tap beers from one of the biggest Japanese craft beer breweries Yo-Ho Brewing Co., including Yona Yona Ale, its signature beer, Suiyoubi no Neko, Indo no Aooni and Tokyo Black.
The food menu is filled with dishes that are prepared using only domestic products, such as vegetables fresh from farms contracted with the restaurant and original sausages. And all the food perfectly matches the beers on tap.
There’s a beer tap counter at the center of the restaurant, and customers can take a break and enjoy their beer in the relaxing atmosphere provided by the wooden interiors.
Until Oct. 20, the restaurant is open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. From Oct. 21, it will open from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch and from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. for dinner. The lunch menu is available weekdays only.
The Yona Yona Beer Kitchen is a 1-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Akasakamitsuke Station (Sotobori-dori Exit.) For more information, call 03-5510-4789 or visit www.yonayonabeerkitchen.com.
