Tokyo Station Hotel summer specials

The Tokyo Station Hotel has begun a Summer Night Fair, with special offers of various plans to enjoy this season.

The fair includes the Precious Stay plan, which includes a dinner buffet, available from Aug. 10 to 16. The buffet is served at the Atrium lounge, the room inside the dome-shaped structure at the top of Tokyo Station. The buffet menu includes risotto with French-produced foie gras and kuroge wagyu roast beef.

Restaurants in the hotel also have various plans during the Summer Night Fair, running from July 1 to Aug. 31. The Lobby Lounge has a special offer of a glass of Champagne and two hors d’oeurvre dishes for ¥3,400 at dinnertime.

The Camellia bar and café has a special menu with three servings of alcoholic beverages and a savory dish or dessert for ¥3,800. It also has a special passion fruit, mango and peach mojito.

Cerulean Tower gourmet gala dinner

The Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, which marked its 12th anniversary on May 24, is holding a Return to Gourmet Gala Dinner on July 10.

The dinner will start at 7 p.m. with doors opening from 6:30 p.m. The event costs ¥22,000 for everything including the dinner course, free drinks and service charge.

This is a one-night only premium gala at which customers can enjoy the highest-standard gastronomy in French, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. It is the Tokyo hotel’s show of gratitude to its customers of the past 12 years.

Chefs of the hotel’s prestigious restaurants, including Szechwan restaurant Chen and Kanetanaka Japanese ryotei restaurant, will “return to the origin” and prepare authentic dishes.

Laurent Jeannin, chef patissier of Hotel Le Bristol Paris, will also visit to prepare desserts for the special gala dinner.
