Summer vacation buffets
Through Aug. 31, the Pan Pacific Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu is serving special buffets during the summer at its Mediterranean and Japanese restaurants.
Cafe Tosca has a "Caribbean" theme with nautical decorations, staff dressed in pirate costumes and Caribbean-style buffet menus. Dishes include pork loin chop grilled in banana leaves, spicy shrimp curry and a whole leg of carved roast beef.
The buffet is from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and costs ¥4,700 on weekdays and ¥5,600 on weekends, holidays and Aug. 11-15 (¥2,800 for children age 6-12).
