Sept. 26-Oct. 18

Spiral Garden often holds shows that blur the genres of art and design, and this exhibition — with its theme of "combining lifestyle with art" — honors the 30th anniversary of that ongoing concept.

"Spectrum" presents works that push the boundaries not only of art and design but also of age, gender, nationality and other societal categories.

The four featured creators — filmmaker and animator Sumito Sakakibara, lighting artist Kyota Takahashi and installation artists Yuko Mohri and Takashi Kuribayashi — all met to discuss the gallery's concept and inspire each other before creating the works on display.
