Usually I'm wary of movies where privileged first-world women go off on a journey to "find themselves." This film is based on the best-selling novel by journalist Elizabeth Gilbert, who turned a post-divorce journey of healing into a massive writing assignment. Julia Roberts stars as protagonist Liz, and boy does she have a good time traipsing from one exotic locale to another. Nice job if you can get it.
