Kanye West has canceled his headline appearance at this year’s Fuji Rock Festival “due to artist circumstances,” according to festival organizers.
The news came as West’s camp also announced the 36-year-old hip-hop star would postpone his tour in Australia next month until September, citing “unexpected timing requirements” to finish a “new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release.”
This leaves Fuji Rock without a headline act, but since the recently reunited Outkast was added to the roster last month, hip-hop fans may not be too disappointed.
Fuji Rock will not be offering refunds for West’s cancelation.
