Ken Loach's son Jim reveals to the world a piece of hidden history: From the late 19th century to 1970, Britain deported children to Australia as cheap labor. In 1986, social worker Margaret Humphreys (Emily Watson) finally blew the whistle, and worked to reunite some of the children (now adults) with their surviving families. This sad story weighs heavy on the heart but is not entirely without hope; a fascinating piece of storytelling.
