The Central League announced Wednesday the schedule for the upcoming regular season, which kicks off with three night games April 2.
The Yomiuri Giants will play the Hanshin Tigers at Tokyo Dome, the Yakult Swallows will take on the Yokohama BayStars at Jingu Stadium, and the Chunichi Dragons will face the Hiroshima Carp at Nagoya Dome.The Pacific League's season openers are set for March 27.
The hosts for season openers this year were determined by the top three finishers in the 2002 season -- Yomiuri, Yakult and Chunichi -- while reigning CL champion Hanshin will host its first series at Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, from April 9.
